Fivos Kontogiannis

Fivos Kontogiannis was born in Athens in 1983. After finishing his studies at the fine arts & design school of Vakalo, he moved to Rome, where he studied Cinematography at the Philosophy department of the university of Rome and graduated from Nuova Univetsita del Cinema Televisione (Cinecitta Studios). He worked in several Italian productions until 2009 and since then he moved back to Athens, where he worked as an assistant director till 2015 in more than 15 feature films. He has also written and directed four short films and one feature documentary that have been screened and awarded in festivals around the world.
Currently he is living and working in Athens as a director in commercials. He is in pre production of his second featured documentary and he is also developing the script of his first feature film.
